Allianz Global Assistance and Iberia renew long-term partnership agreement

The Allianz Global Assistance - Iberia.com agreement was originally signed in 2006. It has expanded greatly since then and today covers a total of 19 countries, including Spain, France, Italy, the United States and Brazil.

When purchasing airline tickets at iberia.com, travellers are able to purchase online travel insurance including extensive covers on ticket cancellation, medical assistance, lost or damaged luggage, and repatriation, to travel safe and with total peace of mind.

Xavier Mauriac, Travel Director for Allianz Global Assistance Global Accounts declares:
«The renewal of this important agreement is a tribute to the hard work that AGA and Iberia.com have undertaken together for the past six years. Iberia being a reference in terms of e-Commerce and innovation, we are proud to count them among our partners and look forward to sharing many more successes together in the future. »

« Since we first signed with Allianz Global Assistance in 2006, they have proven over and over again that they are the best partner for providing online travel insurance, » explains Víctor Moneo, Head of Sales Spain of Iberia.  « The quality of AGA’s travel insurance and assistance services, their advanced technological solutions, and their ability to manage global partnerships make them our most successful and valuable provider of ancillary revenues.
